More to Give brings the experience of one generation within reach of another through short, practical videos and conversations.
More to Give brings together people who have spent years building, learning, leading, creating, caring, solving problems and navigating life, and gives them a simple way to pass what they have learnt to others.
Short videos. Real experiences. Practical lessons.
More to Give grew from a shared conviction about the value of experience and the need to connect generations. Dr S. K. Gupta gave that conviction a powerful direction, and Krishna Ravindra began shaping it into a practical platform through which experience could be passed forward.
Dr Gupta saw something Krishna immediately understood: people who have spent decades building businesses, professions, families and lives possess an extraordinary wealth of experience. Many of them still have the energy, curiosity and desire to contribute that experience to society.
Dr Gupta wanted to explore how that potential could be put to good use.
That struck a deeply personal chord with Krishna.
Krishna has known Dr Gupta since 1998. He was introduced to him by a dear friend who had been Dr Gupta's classmate and who, knowing both men well, sensed that the meeting could become important in Krishna's life.
It did.
Dr Gupta would have a profound influence on the direction Krishna's life took. Germany had long held a special place in his imagination, and it was through Dr Gupta that he first had the opportunity to travel there professionally, on a marketing assignment. That experience became one of the significant turning points in his life.
Krishna first knew Dr Gupta as his employer, but over time came to regard him as a mentor and teacher. He learnt enormously by observing the way Dr Gupta approached business, dealt with people, made decisions, faced challenges and kept moving forward.
Dr Gupta's wish to continue contributing, together with Krishna's own experience of having benefited from mentorship, led naturally to a larger question:
More to Give grew from that question.

Dr S. K. Gupta was born in Punjab in 1945 and spent much of his early education in Madras, now Chennai. He went on to study medicine at the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune and joined the Army Medical Corps in 1969 as a Captain.

His first posting was in Leh. During the 1971 Indo-Pak war, he served on the western front and was injured during heavy shelling. The injuries were not serious, and after two months of recovery he returned to duty.
Following the Simla Agreement in 1972, he moved with his troops to Secunderabad. In 1974, Dr Gupta took premature retirement from the Army, initially intending to go abroad for higher studies.
Back in Chennai, while preparing for a possible move to the United States, he began spending some of his free time helping in his father's readymade garment manufacturing and export business.
Then came a journey that changed the course of his life.
In 1976, when his father was unwell and his younger brother was occupied with the factory, Dr Gupta was asked to travel to Germany to meet a buyer from a major department store. What began as a business trip gradually drew him into an entirely different world. He found international business fascinating and became increasingly involved in the family enterprise.
In 1982, he left the family company and began his own venture.
Over the decades that followed, Dr Gupta built businesses across garments, construction and hospitality. His garment operations grew into substantial manufacturing and export enterprises serving international markets, particularly in Europe. Dr Gupta & Company developed extensive manufacturing facilities, employed large numbers of people and built long-standing relationships with customers across European markets.
Commitment, reliability and quality became central to the way he conducted business. At the same time, he continued to adapt, modernise and explore new opportunities rather than relying simply on what had worked before.
His life has taken him from medicine and military service to international trade, manufacturing, construction and hospitality. Along the way have come war, injury, major decisions, changing careers, building organisations, managing people, negotiating across countries and adapting continually to a changing world.
Looking back on that journey, Dr Gupta describes it very simply: he has enjoyed it thoroughly.
That lifetime of experience is what he brings to More to Give.
Experience never retires.

Krishna Ravindra is an entrepreneur, author and educator based in Germany. Writing under the author name KK Ravin, he is the author of The Mind You Build Is the Future You Live.
Over several decades, his professional life has spanned entrepreneurship, international business, education and writing. His formal journey as an educator began in Bangalore when Dr Thomas John gave him the opportunity to teach French at T. John College. That opportunity opened an important new direction in his life and led to further work in education.
The major turning point came four years later through a dear friend who had been Dr S. K. Gupta’s classmate. Knowing both men well, his friend felt that bringing them together could become important in Krishna’s life and introduced him to Dr Gupta. Krishna subsequently went to work for Dr Gupta, and that association would change the direction of his life profoundly. It was while working under Dr Gupta that Krishna received his first opportunity to travel to Europe professionally, when Dr Gupta sent him to Germany on a marketing assignment. Over time, Krishna came to regard him not only as an employer, but as a mentor and teacher.
Germany had been Krishna’s childhood dream. So when Dr Gupta gave him that first professional opportunity to travel there, it meant far more than an ordinary business assignment. That journey became one of the major turning points in Krishna’s life and helped set in motion the direction his life would subsequently take.
Years later, when Dr Gupta expressed a desire to find a meaningful way for people of his generation to continue contributing their accumulated experience to society, the idea resonated immediately with Krishna. His own life had already shown him how profoundly the experience, encouragement and judgement of people who had travelled the road before him could influence another person’s direction.
From that shared thought grew More to Give, a platform created to connect generations, enable younger people to ask real questions, and give experienced people a way to answer from what life has actually taught them.
This is where the conversations begin. Short videos, practical reflections and answers from people who have learnt through years of living and doing.
Discover the idea behind More to Give and why experience should never retire.
As more mentors contribute, their videos will appear here by topic, making the site useful even for visitors who arrive without a specific question.
A lesson learnt over forty years may take only two minutes to share. A decision that once took years to understand may help someone else see a situation more clearly today.
Someone may make a better decision because you shared what experience taught you. There is always more to learn. And always more to give.
